"Each flower is a soul opening out to nature."

These are Dottie's most frequently asked questions (via e-mail and in person) and her most general answers and explanations. Please feel free to Email her at dottie@flowerhandlers.com with your own questions, inquiries, and comments.
Q. We are interested in having you speak/present a workshop to our group. We already have our audience's interests, areas of focus, and topic titles determined. Can you customize your talk to fit the needs of our group so it aligns with the rest of our event format?
A. Absolutely. Just give me enough lead time to understand your objectives, research solutions to your situation, gather information, and develop a presentation in whatever medium (keynote, workshop, seminar, or boot camp) fits your needs. Actually, I am most happy creating individualized work that is perfect for my clients rather than using cookie-cutter templates. Just send as much detail (dottie@flowerhandlers.com) as you can when you first approach me with a request to talk over your plans so I can "get my mind wrapped around" your scenario before we meet.

Q. How long will "THIS" (meaning any variety of projects) take?
A. During our initial conversations I'll determine whether my services can really support your goals. If so, I'll draft a proposal that describes a plan — specified work to be accomplished within real timeframes which vary from project to project. My intention is to help you create a project, get the work done, and leave you with a formula or procedure that allows you to continue successfully with your staff or on your own. My passion is in creating new opportunities for your business or organization that keep you continually moving forward in your evolutionary process — without needing me. Although long term relationships, where clients trust me to bring one project after another to successful completion, have always been satisfying for both of us.

Q. Can you help me market my business?
A. It depends. The problem with marketing and advertising is that it works. If you get more business but it's the wrong kind of business - work that costs you more time, effort, energy, and money than it is worth - you'd be better off without the increased business.
I am a firm believer that you can design a business to fulfill your desired lifestyle. Usually upon meeting a client, the first order of business is to identify their desires, the second is to make some structural changes in their business, and the third is to market their services.
If you already know how you want to live, you've already identified a group of the perfect customers, and your business is structured so that growth will make you happy living the lifestyle that you want - it's time to market and - Yes, I can help you reach and communicate with (market to) your people. Just touch base for an appointment: dottie@flowerhandlers.com and we'll discover together where you need to start.

Q. What do you charge ... for (speaking, presenting, teaching, offering a workshop, consulting, etc) services?
A. Everyone's needs require various amounts of time, multiple levels of service, and different kinds of resources. The fees (one time or reoccurring) can run from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars depending on the scope of the work. If you want help with a project, email a description of it to me dottie@flowerhandlers.com and we'll make an appointment to talk it over. If, after initial conversations, we decide it makes sense to work together, I'll get a proposal to you based on the requirements to get the job done. My proposals usually have multiple price ranges for various services so you can choose your level of participation and maintain control of your budget.
